Jang brings nearly 20 years of financial strategy and leadership experience to his new role, where he will oversee the company’s finance and analytics teams and advise the CEO and board of directors on their future strategic direction as CommentSold accelerates growth and scales product offerings for its thousands of merchants.

Jang brings significant experience and leadership in financial strategy and growth advisory company-wide. Most recently, Jang served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for LaserShip, the largest regional e-commerce parcel carrier in the U.S. and leader in last-mile delivery. At LaserShip, Jang oversaw the finance, accounting and analytics functions and was instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic development across all areas of the business. During his six-year tenure, the company experienced significant growth through organic channels and transformative acquisitions to a multi-billion dollar enterprise.
Prior to LaserShip, Jang served as Partner at Narrow Gauge Capital, Principal at Monitor Clipper Partners, Consultant at Monitor Group and Urban Fellow at New York City Economic Development Corporation. He has also served as a board member and observer for various companies in the e-commerce, financial technology, automotive and healthcare sectors. Jang received a B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
